Kappner & McLaughlin Wedding Alaina Marie Kappner of Maineville, Ohio, and Daniel Joseph McLaughlin of Liberty Township, Ohio, were legally married on Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Saguaro National Park, Arizona. Alaina Kappner is a graduate of West Point and is active-duty military, and Daniel McLaughlin is a graduate of Logan University College of Chiropractic and currently works at a practice in West Chester. Pastor Steve Holt of Ohio officiated the private ceremony with both of their parents as witnesses. The couple held an outdoor wedding ceremony at the Manor House in Mason, Ohio, on April 30, 2022, to formally celebrate their marriage with friends and family. Once more, Pastor Steve Holt presided over the ceremony in which Alaina and Daniel publicly proclaimed their vows again to all those present. During both occasions, the couple released white doves to celebrate their union. The bride is the daughter of Mr. Shawn Kappner and Mrs. Johanna Kappner of Maineville, Ohio. The groom is the son of Mr. Patrick McLaughlin and Mrs. Lisa McLaughlin of Liberty Township, Ohio.
