Advertisement for Bid Proposals for Turnbridge-Cherokee Park Pedestrian

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID PROPOSALS FOR TURNBRIDGE-CHEROKEE PARK PEDESTRIAN PATH LIBERTY TOWNSHIP, BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO NOTICE TO BIDDERS Liberty Township, Butler County, Ohio (the "Township") will be accepting bids for the installation of a pedestrian pathway and aluminum box culvert within the Turnbridge Open Space and Cherokee Park, which is generally located north of Millikin Road and west of Gregory Creek (the "Pedestrian Path Project") with an estimated budget of $223,828.00 and will be opened and read aloud thereafter. Interested contractors should submit one (1) original and two (2) copies of their fully completed and signed Bid Proposal, along with all required documentation, in a sealed envelope marked "CONFIDENTIAL: Proposal for the Pedestrian Path Project." Sealed bids are due by Monday, March 25, 2019 at 2:00pm local time. Bids submitted prior to Noon local time on Monday, March 25, 2019 shall be delivered to the Liberty Township Administration Building, 7162 Liberty Centre Drive, Suite A, Liberty Township, OH 45069. Bids submitted after Noon and up until 2:00 p.m. local time on Monday, March 25, 2019 must be delivered to 6400 Princeton Road, Liberty Township, OH 45011. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at 1:00pm local time at the Turnbridge trailhead parking lot (access drive between 5887 and 5893 Laurel Run Drive). Attendance at the Pre-Bid Meeting is not mandatory, but is encouraged. Bidding documents may be obtained from the Liberty Township Administration Building during regular business hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; or, via the Township's website at www.liberty-township.com by selecting the link labeled "Bid Opportunities". All questions shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid Proposal shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in accordance with O.R.C. Section 153.54 and in the forms proscribed in O.R.C. Sections 153.57 and 153.571. The Township will award the Pedestrian Path Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, the Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of any bidder. No bid may be withdrawn after the opening of the bids. Any Bid Proposal received after the above referenced time and date will be returned to the submitter unopened.
