City of Fairfield, Ohio Notice to Bidders Cleaning

CITY OF FAIRFIELD, OHIO NOTICE TO BIDDERS CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING OF THE 1,500,000 GALLON SEWARD ROAD WATER STORAGE TOWER Sealed proposals will be received by the Finance Department of the City of Fairfield, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio until 3:00 P.M. local time on Monday, February 3rd, 2020, for furnishing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to complete the project known as CLEANING, REPAIRING AND PAINTING OF THE 1,500,000 GALLON SEWARD ROAD WATER STORAGE TOWER and at said time and place, publicly opened and read aloud. The project includes the preparation and coating of the exterior, wet interior and dry interior of the water tower along with all other associated work shown on the Construction Plans and Specifications. Detailed specifications and bid forms are on file in the Finance Office at the Fairfield Municipal Building, 5350 Pleasant Avenue, Fairfield, Ohio. Cost of the specifications is thirty ($30) per set, non-refundable if obtained as a hardcopy, or no charge if obtained as an electronic version from the City's public website at http://www.fairfield-city.org/Bids.aspx Bids must be submitted on the forms in the Contract Documents and other conditions therein described must be met. Each bid must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, clearly marked 'Cleaning, Repairing and Painting of the 1,500,000 Gallon Seward Road Water Storage Tower' on the face of the envelope and display the name and address of the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents: Bid Bond (Certified Check or Cashier's Check for ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid submitted unless otherwise specified) Non-Collusion Affidavit Affidavit of Non-Delinquency of Personal Property Taxes Bids cannot be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days following the bid opening. All work must be completed in accordance with construction schedule as outlined in bid specifications. The City of Fairfield reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to correct or waive irregularities in bids should it be deemed in the best interest of the City of Fairfield, Ohio to do so.
