LEGAL NOTICE NO. 645 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the City Engineer, Annex Building, 20 E. Central Ave., City of Miamisburg, State of Ohio for the following improvement: 2020 SIDEWALK, CURB & GUTTER PROGRAM Until 12:00 o'clock, noon, on March 12, 2020, Miamisburg time, at which time proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud. Copies of the plans and specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the proposal and contract forms are available at the City Engineer's Office, 20 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342. They may be obtained upon the payment of $30.00 (Thirty Dollars) for each set of documents, payable to the City of Miamisburg, NONE OF WHICH WILL BE REFUNDED. Bidders must endorse their name and the work bid upon the outside of the envelope containing their bids and shall use the printed forms provided by the City Engineer, as none other will be accepted. Each bid shall contain the full name of every person or company interested in same, and shall be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check upon some solvent bank, or a bond executed by a Surety Company authorized to do business in Ohio, or bonds of the United States or the City of Miamisburg for the sum equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid submitted, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on public improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed by September 30, 2020. The City of Miamisburg, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informalities or irregularities, and further, reserves the right to accept any bids or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.
