Legal Notice No. 647 Sealed Bids for Furnishing

LEGAL NOTICE NO. 647 Sealed bids for furnishing the necessary materials and constructing the GEBHART CHURCH ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PHASE II will be received by the City at the Office of the City Engineer, 20 E. Central Avenue, Miamisburg, Ohio 45342 until June 30, 2020 12:00 Noon and at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud. This project consists of reconstruction of approximately 1,900 feet of roadway. The improvements will include sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm sewer and replacement of an 8-inch water main. Copies of the plans and specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the proposal and contract forms are available at the City Engineer's Office, 20 E. Central Ave., Miamisburg, Ohio 45342, where they may be obtained upon the payment of $30.00 (Thirty Dollars) for each set of documents, made payable to the City of Miamisburg, NONE OF WHICH WILL BE REFUNDED. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 30, 2021. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The City of Miamisburg, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive any informalities or irregularities, and further, reserves the right to accept any bids or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.
