Monroe Police Station for City of Monroe Monroe, OHIO Sealed bids will be received by the City of Monroe, 233 South Main Street, Monroe, Ohio 45050 until two (2) o'clock P.M., local time, on Tuesday, November 12, at which time the bids will be opened and read for the construction of a new Police Station located at 601 South Main Street, Monroe, Ohio. The work includes renovation of an existing vacant grocery store, structural modifications for an interior storm shelter, façade upgrades and new parking accommodations. The work shall commence within 14 calendar days of the acceptance of the contract proposal. The Contract Documents, including Project Specifications are available for purchase from keycin@keycompanies.com or 411 Elliott Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45215, 513.821.2111 at the non-refundable cost of reproduction plus shipping, if requested. There will be a pre-bid meeting, at the Project Site, at 10:00 am on Thursday, October 31th. Although not mandatory, bidders are encouraged to attend. The Project is sales tax exempt. Bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the City of Monroe, ATTN: William Brock, 233 South Main Street, Monroe, OH 45050 and properly identified with the bidder's name, address, bid opening date and a statement that it is a sealed bid covering the services for which the bid is¬ submitted. All bids must include a Bid Guaranty, as described in the Instructions to Bidders. No bidder may withdraw its bid within 60 days after the opening. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division, (614) 644-2239.
