NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received in the Montgomery County Purchasing Department, 9th floor County Administration Building, 451 West Third Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422, until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2020, for Project No. 130054-69, Centerville South Tank Rehabilitation, for the Montgomery County Environmental Services Department. Said Bids will be opened as soon thereafter as the opening can begin in Room 902, 9th floor of the County Administration Building. The Work covered under this Contract shall consist of the complete cleaning and repainting of both the interior and exterior, with containment, of a 2,074,800-gallon steel elevated water tank located at 190 North Johanna Dr in Centerville, Ohio. Additional work items include: furnishing and installation of overflow pipe screened flap gate, ladder safe-climbing devices, column platform railing intermediate rails and toe bars, protective cover for inlet/outlet pipe, and clog-resistant roof vent; seal welding of strut ends, interior stiffeners, and dry column crimped seams; removal of interior container ladder; including other miscellaneous repairs and incidental items such as coordination with the OWNER, first anniversary evaluation, disposal of debris, site restoration, etc. Plans and Specifications are available at 1850 Spaulding Road, Kettering, Ohio 45432, for review or by accessing the Montgomery County website at www.mcohio.org/onlinebids, at no cost.
