PUBLIC ADVERTISEMENT MIAMI UNIVERSITY OXFORD, OHIO 45056 NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ("RFQ") FOR CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK Notice is hereby given of Miami University's intent to employ Construction Manager at Risk services for the OGN Bell Tower Place Renovation Project. This Project will renovate the existing Bell Tower Place Dining Facility in the lower level of Ogden Hall. Ogden Hall is a three-story residence hall originally constructed in 1924 consisting of a total of 75,179 gross SF. Bell Tower Place, approximately 17,500 net SF, will be reconfigured to allow for an expanded food service menu, an integrated market/food service concept and an update of equipment and finishes throughout the facility. Servings lines will be reconfigured as needed to support the new concept. Back of house prep, storage and related kitchen operations will also be reconfigured as needed. Work will include interior finishes, food service equipment, interior framing, MEP systems modifications, and life safety systems changes as well as supporting IT and AV work. The last major renovation to the dining facility was completed approximately 15 years ago. A Program of Requirements has been developed. Professional design services have been acquired by the University under separate contract. Relevant scope of services and required qualifications include without limitation: constructability review comments on documents produced by the A/E during the Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document stages; develop and maintain estimates of probable construction cost, value engineering, project schedules, and construction schedules; lead and manage the Subcontractor Prequalification and Bidding process, Construction and Closeout Stage.
