REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES The Franklin City School District Board of Education is requesting proposals for architectural and related services for design of new construction and renovation projects. The current estimated value of the project is $66,026,594 and will include the following proposed components: New Construction of High School - $33,262,648 Renovation of Current High School - $25,810,298 (Repurposed for Middle School and Board Office.) New Construction of a Bus Garage - $4,000,000 This project is in collaboration with the Ohio Facilities Construction Commission (OFCC) as approved by its Controlling Board July 27, 2020. This portion of the Expedited Local Partnership Program (ELPP) is the Discrete Portion which is to be funded but a Bond Issue being decided November 3rd, 2020. September 10th - Deadline for RFP submission September 14th - Board appoints the Architect Proposal Review Committee (Board receives copies of candidates' submissions.) September 16th - Finance Committee Selection of Candidates to be Interviewed. September 21-25 - Special BOE Meeting to Interview Candidates September 28 - Board Architect Resolution Ranking the Candidates September 29 CBM at EB Legal begins negotiations for a contract with the finalist. 8-13, 8-20/2020
