CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 14-2023 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on September 11, 2023. A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations: Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Community Arts Center, and the Wildwood Manor House. Ord. 123-23 Development Agreement with Cassandra A. Rodriguez & Ricardo A. Rodriguez related to the improvements at 5103 Pleasant Avenue within Fairfield's Town Center area and declaring an emergency. Ord. 124-23 Apply for and accept an energy efficiency and conservation block grant and declaring an emergency. Ord. 125-23 Professional services agreement with Medicount Management Inc. to provide billing services for emergency medical transport and declaring an emergency. Ord. 126-23 Purchase agreement with Howell Rescue Systems for battery powered extrication tools with accessories and declaring an emergency. Ord. 127-23 Amend Section 953.01(a) of Ordinance No. 166-84, the Codified Ordinances of Fairfield, Ohio relative to the service fee for residential garbage and solid waste and recycling collection and declaring an emergency. Ord. 128-23 Appropriate to public use certain interests in real property identified in plans prepared by LJB, Inc. entitled "South Gilmore Road Improvement Project" and declaring an emergency. Ord. 129-23 Contractual Appropriations: $89,345 for battery powered extrication tools for Fire Department; $36,000 for concrete replacement at Fairfield Aquatic Center (existing contract) Ord. 130-23 Non-Contractual Appropriations $20,000 for 5103 Pleasant Avenue Development Agreement; $11,000 for Public Utilities Water Division Window Repair; $94,000 for desktop and mobile computers, monitors and phone handsets (multiple vendors); $49,000 for data backup appliance and management devices; $35,500 for Waterworks Park Facilities Maintenance Lighting Improvements. 9-15/2023
