Greenon Local School District Proposed Tax Levy Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of Greenon Local School District, passed on 4/18/2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5TH day of November, 2019 the following question: Shall a tax levy substituting for an existing levy be imposed by the Greenon Local School District for the purpose of providing for the necessary requirements of the school district in the initial sum of $1,806,472, and a levy of taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to require 6.55 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.655 for each one hundred dollars of valuation for the initial year of the tax, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2019, first due in calendar year 2020, with the sum of such tax to increase only if and as new land or real property improvements not previously taxed by the school district are added to its tax list? Precincts affected: GREEN 1, MR-1, split 1 only, MR-2, MR-3, MR-4, MR-5, split 1 only, MR-6, ENON 1, and ENON 2 10-21, 10-28/2019
