Interested parties are hereby notified that the United States Army Corps of Engineers Louisville District is preparing the Third Five-Year Review regarding the proposed action described below. The USACE plans to continue monitoring the natural attenuation of groundwater for a 14-acre parcel, formerly known as the Nike Missile Site Cincinnati/Dayton CD-78, which is located in Butler County, Ohio. In compliance with the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, a Third Five-Year Review is being prepared for the property to evaluate remedy protectiveness of human health and the environment. The Third Five-Year Review public comment period is open for 30 days from September 15, 2022, to October 15, 2022. Once completed (anticipated March 2023) the review document will be accessible online at the following website: https://www.lrl.usace.army.mil/Missions/Regulatory/Public-Notices/.
