LEGAL NOTICE CIVIL SERVICE ASSESSMENT The Edgewood City School District will be conducting assessment interviews to create an eligibility list for the classification of School Bus Drivers. Classification: School Bus Driver Probationary Period: Ninety (90) working days Salary Range: 19.02 21.83 per hour Vacancy: Eligibility list This position is highly skilled in terms of driving ability, concentration, patience and understanding of young people. Drivers are responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of pupils within the guidelines of the State of Ohio and the policies established by the Edgewood Board of Education; maintaining discipline on the bus; promoting good public relations by neat appearance, proper attitude, and appearance of the school bus. Drivers must comply with all laws, rules and regulations in accordance with the State of Ohio Laws and Regulations for transportation of students. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, certification as a school bus driver in the State of Ohio (valid CDL license School Bus Passenger), successful completion of the Ohio School Bus Driver Basic Training Course, and a current abstract showing (6) or fewer points and a satisfactory report from a Criminal Records Background check is required. Applicants are required to sign up at the Edgewood Board of Education office, 3500 Busenbark Road, Trenton, OH from 7:30 a.m. 3:30 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019 Friday March 8, 2019.
