LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that a petition signed by a majority of the owners of real estate in the territory hereinafter described, addressed to the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio, was filed with the Montgomery County Board of County Commissioners on December 12, 2018 to annex the following described territory from Butler Township to the City of Union, Ohio: Situate in Section 1, Township 5, Range 5 East and Section 6, Township 3, Range 6 East, in the Township of Butler, County of Montgomery, State of Ohio, and being part of a 6.000± acre tract, part of a 59.000± acre tract and part of a 94.000± acre tract as conveyed to Richard P. Thies and Debra L. Thies by deed recorded in I.R. Deed 17-030994 and part of 71.503± acres as conveyed to Richard P. & Debra L. Thies by deed recorded in I.R. Deed 13-039767 (all references to deeds, microfiche, plats, surveys, etc. refer to the records of the Montgomery County Recorder's Office, unless noted otherwise) and being more particularly bounded and described as follows: Commencing for reference at the southeast corner of the Northwest Quarter Section 6, Township 3, Range 6 East, said point being at the southeast corner of a 0.758± acre parcel of land as conveyed to Daniel M. Delehanty and Margaret M. Delehanty by deed recorded in I.R. Deed 16-056629 and the northeast corner of a 77.1444± acre parcel of land as conveyed to Barbara A. Deal, Trustee by deed recorded in I.R. Deed 13-039770; thence with said extension line across said Dog Leg Road in an Easterly direction 40.04± feet to a point on the east right of way line of said Dog Leg Road and in the existing City of Union Corporation line as recorded in Plat Book 227, page 47 and the north line of said Thies 71.503± acre parcel; thence South along the said Corporation Line and the east line of said Dog Leg Road, also being on a parallel line to the east line of said Thies 71.503± acre parcel South 922.26± feet to the north line of a 3.000± acre parcel as conveyed to Randy M. Thomson and Dana B. Thomson by deed recorded in I.R. Deed 15-059500; thence with said line and across said Dog Leg Road West 20.00± feet to a point on the east line of said Thies parcel and the half section line, said point being the southwest corner of said Thies 71.503± acre parcel and the northwest corner of said Thomson parcel; thence South along the east line of said Thies 94.000± acre parcel, the half section line and the west line of said Thomson parcel 10.00± feet to the northeast corner of said Delehanty parcel; thence leaving said lines along a south line of said Thies parcel and the north line of said Delehanty parcel in a Westerly direction 220.00± feet to the northwest corner of said Delehanty parcel and a corner of said Thies parcel; thence along an east line of said Thies parcel and the west line of said Delehanty parcel in a Southerly direction 150.00± feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, containing 158.448± acres. Bearings are based upon an assumed meridian used to denote angles only.
