Moorefield Township Proposed Tax Levy Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of Moorefield Township, passed on 4/9/2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the General Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 5TH day of November, 2019 the following question: A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Moorefield Township for the purpose of providing and maintaining motor vehicles, communications, or the payment of the costs incurred by townships as a result of contracts made with other political subdivisions in order to obtain police protection at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2019, first due in calendar year 2020.
