Northwestern Local School District Proposed Tax Levy Notice
Northwestern Local School District Proposed Tax Levy Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of a Resolution of the Board of Education of Northwestern Local School District, passed on 11/21/2019, there will be submitted to a vote of the people at the Primary Election to be held at the regular places of voting on Tuesday, the 17TH day of March, 2020 the following question: Shall a tax levy substituting for an existing levy be imposed by the Northwestern Local School District for the purpose of providing for the necessary requirements of the school district in the initial sum of $1,700,142, and a levy of taxes be made outside of the ten-mill limitation estimated by the county auditor to require 7.16 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.716 for each one hundred dollars of valuation for the initial year of the tax, for 5 years, commencing in 2021, first due in calendar year 2022, with the sum of such tax to increase only if and as new land or real property improvements not previously taxed by the school district are added to its tax list? Precincts affected: GERM 1, GERM 2, GERM 3, GERM 4, GERM 5, MFLD 4, split 2 only, PIKE 1, split 1 only, and PIKE 2 Run dates: March 6 & 13, 2020 3-6, 3-13/2020
