NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuant to a resolution passed on December 10, 2018 by the Oakwood City School Board of Education, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the Special Election to be held on the 7th day of May, 2019, at the regular places of voting therein, the following questions: "Shall the Oakwood City School District be authorized to do the following: 1. Issue bonds for the purpose of constructing additions to and renovating and improving existing school facilities, including safety and security improvements; furnishing and equipping the same; improving sites thereof; and acquiring land and interests in land necessary in connection therewith; in the principal amount of $18,000,000 to be repaid annually over a maximum period of 37 years, and levy a property tax outside the ten-mill limitation, estimated by the county auditor to average over the bond repayment period of 2.71 mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to $0.271 for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, to pay the annual debt charges on the bonds, and to pay debt charges on any notes issued in anticipation of those bonds? 2. Levy an additional property tax to pay current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 4.99 mills for each one dollar of tax valuation, which amounts to $0.499 for each one hundred dollars of tax valuation, for a continuing period of time?" The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day. By the order of the Board of Elections for Montgomery County, Ohio.
