Notice of Election Notice is Hereby Given

NOTICE OF ELECTION Notice is hereby given that in pursuant to a resolution passed on January 14, 2019, by the Valley View Local School Board of Education, Montgomery and Preble Counties, Ohio, there will be submitted to the qualified electors of said district at the Special Election to be held on the 7th day of May, 2019, at the regular places of voting therein, the following question: "An additional tax for the benefit of the Valley View Local School District, counties of Montgomery and Preble, for the purpose of current operating expenses at a rate not exceeding 6.49 mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.649 for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for a continuing period of time, commencing in 2019, first due in calendar year 2020." The polls for said election will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on said day. By the order of the Board of Elections for Montgomery County, Ohio.
