Notice of Initiation of the Five-Year Record of Decision (ROD) Review for the Installation Restoration Program Sites at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio The Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC) has initiated the fifth five-year review of the Record of Decision (ROD) remedies implemented at the Installation Restoration Program (IRP) sites at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio. The review process involves an evaluation of the risk posed by residual contamination and whether the actions implemented at each IRP site remains protective of human health and the environment. The IRP sites and their remedies are described in the following six separate RODs: 1) Source Control Operable Unit 2) Off-Source Operable Unit 3) 21 No Action Sites 4) Spill Sites 2, 3, and 10 5) 41 No Action Sites 6) Groundwater Operable Unit. The methods, findings, and conclusions of the review will be documented in a Five-Year Review Report. The report will also identify issues found during the review, if any, and propose recommendations to address identified issues.
