On March 7, 2022, National Imaging Associates (Nia)

On March 7, 2022, National Imaging Associates (NIA) learned that between November 1, 2021 and March 7, 2022 an NIA employee improperly disclosed health and personal information of some CareSource Ohio members. NIA oversees radiology benefits for CareSource. The information disclosed may have included diagnosis, treatment, medical history, test results, prescriptions, provider name, as well as member name, address, gender, phone number, date of birth, health plan, plan ID number and similar information. No Social Security Numbers or financial information were identified as being involved. The employee was terminated and NIA is adding more technical controls to prevent another incident.
