Public Notice City of Kettering Public Meeting 2020 CDBG and HOME programs A public meeting for informational purposes relative to the Entitlement Program of the City of Kettering will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Kettering Government Center, 3600 Shroyer Road, Deeds conference room. This public meeting will address the commencement of the 2020 Program Year of the CDBG and HOME programs of the City of Kettering. The proposed CDBG budget will be approximately $557,907 and the proposed HOME budget will be approximately $150,000. HOME funds are consented under the City of Dayton/City of Kettering Consortium, benefiting the residents of both the City of Dayton and the City of Kettering. The objectives of the CDBG and HOME programs include the redevelopment of neighborhoods, the rehabilitation of residences, and assistance for first time homebuyers, stimulating economic development and providing public improvements that principally benefit persons of low and moderate income. The public meeting will be held to provide an overview of the programs, provide information and timeline for implementation of projects. The City of Kettering will provide assistance to persons with disabilities needing interpreters or other auxiliary aids and services in order to participate in this hearing.
