LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A REQUEST TO REZONE PROPERTIES 2604, 2616, 2628, 2636, 2640, 2652, 2668, 2670 and 2704 BENNINGHOFEN AVENUE, SIXTH WARD NORTH, CITY OF HAMILTON, BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO. LOCATION: See attached map [Here or link below] https://www.hamilton-city.org/DocumentCenter/View/5932/Proposed-TN-Zoning-2600-Block-of-Benninghofen---11082019 APPLICANT: City of Hamilton Planning Department REQUEST: Request proposed changes to the Zoning Map of the City of Hamilton to amend the zoning designations (rezoning) of the properties as set forth below. A public hearing will be held before Hamilton City Council, meeting as a Committee of the Whole, on Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at 6:00 p.m., in the Council Chambers 345 High Street, First Floor, One Renaissance Center, concerning the following two (2) requests: 1) Request to amend the zoning designations (rezoning) of the properties at 2604, 2616, 2628 and 2636 Benninghofen Avenue, parcels #P6461051000062 thru P6461051000072, Sixth Ward North, City of Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio; from B-2 Community Business zoning district to TN-1 Traditional Neighborhood -1 zoning district. 2) Request to amend the zoning designations (rezoning) of the properties at 2640, 2652, 2668, 2670, & 2704 Benninghofen Avenue, parcels #P6461051000073 thru P6461051000065 and P6461051000087, Sixth Ward North, City of Hamilton, Butler County, Ohio; From B-2 Community Business District to TN-3 Traditional Neighborhood -3 zoning district. The proposed rezoning is part of an ongoing effort by the City of Hamilton to implement the recommendations of Plan Hamilton, the City's recently adopted Comprehensive Plan. Plan Hamilton calls out the subject areas as Transitional Neighborhoods, with a goal of encouraging the protection of these traditional neighborhoods, housing, and wider array of uses within the area. The map of the properties and proposed new zoning designation details are on file in the Planning Department Office and available for your review upon request.
