DUSTIN FENT [Father] No.: 2021-JV-2609 IN THE MATTER OF: HONEY FENT, DOB: 05/30/2005 A CHILD UNDER EIGHTEEN (18) YEARS OF AGE MOTION AND ORDER FOR PUBLICATION COMES NOW, the Petitioner, and moves this Honorable Court to order service of process by publication for the Respondent Father, Dustin Fent. In support of this motion, the Petitioner would show that the Respondent Father cannot be located despite diligent search efforts and attaches an Affidavit of Diligent Search to this Motion reflecting the same (See Attachment 1). It appearing to the Court from the allegations of the Petition in this cause and the affidavit of the Petitioner that the whereabouts of the Respondent are unknown, and that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon Dustin Fent, it is, therefore, ordered that Respondent be served by publication of the following notice for four (4) consecutive weeks in the Springfield News Sun, a newspaper published in the Ohio county of Clark. DUSTIN FENT The State of Tennessee, Department of Children's Services, has filed a Petition to Terminate Parental Rights against you regarding the child, Honey Fent, DOB: 05/30/2005, alleging that you have abandoned the child by your failure to visit and that you have failed to manifest the willingness and ability to parent. It appears that ordinary process of law cannot be served upon you because your whereabouts are unknown. You are, therefore, ordered to respond by filing an Answer to the Petition filed against you. A copy of the Petition may be obtained at the office of the County Clerk, Juvenile Court of Claiborne County, Tennessee, at 415 Straight Creek Road, #5, New Tazewell, TN 37825. This notice will be published for four consecutive weeks. The last date of publication will be February 15, 2023. Your Answer must be filed within thirty (30) days after that. If no Answer is filed, a Default Judgment will be taken against you on March 27, 2023, and a hearing will be set without further notice to you. ENTER this the 19th day of January, 2023.
