To: Heather Dawn Poland whose last known address was 595 Van Buren Drive, Columbus Ohio 43223 and whose current place of residence and whereabouts are unknown and cannot with reasonable diligence be ascertained, will take notice that on the 9th day of February, 2024, Moriah Dawn Miller and Michael Benjamin Miller, aunt and uncle, filed in this Court their Petition for Adoption of Aria Elise Miller whose date of birth is November 11, 2021 and for change of the name of the minor to Aria Elise Miller. This court, located at 41 North Perry Street, Dayton, Ohio 45422-2155 will hear the Petition on the 21st day of June, 2024 at 9:50 o'clock a.m. in Courtroom No. 3. It is alleged in the petition, pursuant to R.C. 3107.07, that the consent of Heather Dawn Poland is not required due to the following: That person is a parent who has failed without justifiable cause to provide more than de minimis contact with the minor for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioners; and that the parent has failed without justifiable cause to provide for the maintenance and support of the minor as required by law or judicial decree for a period of at least one year immediately preceding the filing of the adoption petition or the placement of the minor in the home of the petitioners.
