Advertisement for Bids Asphalt and Concrete Restoration Contract

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ASPHALT AND CONCRETE RESTORATION CONTRACT PROJECT NO. 20-A8A COUNTY OF BUTLER BUTLER COUNTY GOVERNMENT SERVICES CENTER 315 HIGH STREET HAMILTON, OHIO 45011 Sealed bids will be received at the office of the Board of County Commissioners of Butler County, Ohio on the 6th Floor of the Butler County Government Services Center, 315 High Street, Hamilton, Ohio until 10:30 a.m. local time on Tuesday, September 29, 2020, and will be opened and read aloud at 10:45 a.m. or shortly thereafter in the Commissioners' Chambers on the 2nd floor. The Contract involves furnishing all labor and materials required to restore concrete and asphalt as ordered by the Butler County Water and Sewer Department. These restorations are required due to repairs made to the water and sewer system. Plans and specifications are on file at the office of the Butler County Water and Sewer Department, Butler County Administrative Center, 130 High Street, 5th Floor, Hamilton, Ohio. The Advertisement for Bids may be obtained on-line at http://www.butlercountyohio.org/ commissioner Each bid must contain the full name and street address of the bidder, a signed Non-Collusion Affidavit, a signed Personal Property Tax Affidavit, and a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids shall be sealed and shall be clearly marked on the outside of the package "BIDS FOR ASPHALT AND CONCRETE RESTORATION CONTRACT FOR THE WATER AND SEWER DEPARTMENT." Failure to submit bid in conformance with the Contract Documents will result in rejection of the bid as non-responsive. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Butler County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage & Hour Division. Engineer's estimate for the base bid is $125,000.00. The right is reserved by the County to reject any or all Bids, to waive formalities, to accept the lowest and best Bid, and to hold Bids for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening for evaluating both the Bids and Bidders.
