INVITATION TO BID A sealed bid for the RAMP EXPANSION BETWEEN JETS HANGAR AND SAFE SKIES for the CITY OF MIDDLETOWN, OHIO will be received at ONE DONHAM PLAZA, MIDDLETOWN, OHIO 45042 UNTIL MARCH 27, 2023 at 9:00am local time. All bids must be properly labeled and received at the Purchasing Office of the CITY OF MIDDLETOWN, OHIO. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The Contractor must comply with the Federal Prevailing Wage Rates (Davis Bacon). This project is partially funded by the Federal Aviation Administration and is subject to a Disadvantage Business Enterprise participation goal of 5%. The right is reserved by the OWNER to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in bids received and to accept any bid which is deemed to be the lowest and best bid. No BIDDER may withdraw his BID for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of the bids.
