Invitation to Bid Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank/ Equipment for Mad River Local Schools 801 Old Harshman Drive Riverside, OH 45005 Sealed bids for furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to construct a new Above Ground Fuel Storage Tank/Equipment as specified for Mad River Local Schools Transportation Facility located at 1837 Harshman Road, Riverside, OH 45424 will be received by the Treasurer/CFO, Mad River Local Schools, 801 Old Harshman Road, Riverside, OH 45431. On Wednesday April 22nd, 2020 at 3:00pm bids will be opened and read aloud in the Board Room located at the mailing address. A pre-bid conference will be held on Friday April 12th, 2020 at 1:00pm at the office inside Mad River Transportation Facility located at 1837 Harshman Road, Riverside, OH 45424. Attendance will be a factor in determining bidder's qualifications. Bids may be mailed or delivered in person to Mr. Jerry Ellender, Treasurer/CFO, at 801 Old Harshman Road, Riverside, OH 45431 on or before 3:00pm, Wednesday April 22nd, 2020. Bid envelope is to be marked "Above Ground Fuel Tank, Mad River Local Schools". Bids received after 3:00pm (local time) will be returned unopened. Bids must include all drawings with a specific materials list that will be used for the project. Qualified bidders may obtain an electronic set of bidding documents and project plans by contacting Jonathan Schaaf at RDA Group Architects by emailing JRS@rda-group.com. Phone 937-610-3440, 7945 Washington Woods Drive, Dayton, OH 45459. The project is desired to take place summer of 2020. Bidder must provide all permits and zoning approval required for the project. Any changes requested by the Building Inspector must be covered by the contractor. Successful bidder must provide proof of Workers Compensation and a Certificate of Insurance. A bid security in the form of a Bid Bond in accordance with Chapter 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100 percent of the total bid shall accompany each bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid shall company each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory performance bond for (100%) of the contract price. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the bid opening. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject each and every bid, and wave informalities and errors in bidding to the extent permitted by law.
