INVITATION TO BID LEGAL NOTICE Sealed BIDS for the contract to construct the Voice of America MetroPark-VOA/Tylersville Shared Use Path (2024-003) will be received by the Board of Park Commissioners at 2051 Timberman Road, Hamilton, OH 45013, or via BidExpress service (www. BidExpress.com/businesses/65146/home), until 2:00 P.M. (local time) on May 9th, 2024, and then at said office, publicly opened and read aloud. Bids submitted via e-mail are not acceptable. The project is described as follows: Construction of a shared use asphalt path connecting existing asphalt path near Butler-Warren Road to an existing asphalt path located behind Voice of America Shopping Center per the attached construction specifications. The new construction shared use path has a total length of 2,932 linear feet (0.56 miles). The Contract Documents are available online at https://www.yourmetroparks.net/about/rfps-and-bid-opportunities. Copies of the Contract Documents may also be obtained or examined in person at the MetroParks Administration Building during regular hours. An OPTIONAL pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site, Voice of America MetroPark at the Athletic Complex Fieldhouse located at 8187 VOA Park Drive, West Chester Township, OH 45069, on April 30th at 10:00 a.m. (local time). Meeting minutes will not be recorded or distributed. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its Bid a Bid Guaranty in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes and clearly marked with the Bid Number (2024-003), project title, and the designation of the contract being bid upon. The Board of Park Commissioners intends to award a contract to the best value bidder whose Bid is submitted in accordance with the requirements of these bidding documents. The Board of Park Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any nonmaterial bid irregularities. This is a prevailing wage project. No contract will be awarded if the lowest and best combined bid is in excess of 10% above the Engineer's pre-bid estimate of cost, which is published in the Contract Documents.
