LEGAL NOTICE 667 CITY OF MIAMISBURG 2024 RIVERVIEW AVENUE ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT Bids will be received via the Bid Express website (www.bidexpress.com) until May 21, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. (deadline) for the 2024 Riverview Avenue Roadway Improvements Project. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 2:00 P.M. on May 21, 2024. The project consists of reconstruction of approximately 3,500 feet of roadway. Work includes sidewalk, curb and gutter, storm sewer, modular retaining wall and asphalt resurfacing. Bids can only be submitted through the Bid Express website. Bid specifications and plans are only available through the Bid Express website. Each Bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than September 30, 2025. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Montgomery County, Ohio, as determined by the Ohio Department of Industrial Relations. The City of Miamisburg, Ohio reserves the right to reject any and all bids to waive any informalities or irregularities, and further, reserves the right to accept any bids or parts of bids which it deems to best serve the interest of the City of Miamisburg, Ohio.
