CITY OF FAIRFIELD LEGISLATION SUMMARY NO. 3-2023 Following is a summary of legislation adopted by the Fairfield City Council on February 13, 2023. A complete text may be viewed at the following Fairfield locations: Fairfield Municipal Building (Room 138), Fairfield Lane Public Library, Fairfield YMCA, Fairfield Community Arts Center, and the Wildwood Manor House. Res. 1-23 Resolution declaring necessity of repairing sidewalks (including aprons). Ord. 11-23 Affirming the designation of the Community Improvement Corporation of Fairfield, Ohio as the City's agency for development in the City and authorizing a grant to be made to the Community Improvement Corporation of Fairfield for public purposes, and declaring an emergency. Ord. 12-23 Three (3) year contract extension with City option for two (2) additional one (1)-year terms with Synagro (formerly LimeCorp, LTD; formerly Reagent Technologies) for the transport and disposal of lime residuals from the City's Water Treatment Plant and declaring an emergency. Ord. 13-23 Successor collective bargaining agreement with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local #20, AFL-CIO for wages, hours, and terms and conditions of employment effective March 1, 2020 through February 28, 2023, inclusive and declaring an emergency. Ord. 14-23 Authorize an amendment to the Employment Agreement for the City Manager and declaring an emergency. Ord. 15-23 2023 Wage & Salary Ordinance Classified employees Ord. 16-23 Supplemental Appropriations. Ord. 17-23 Contractual Appropriations: $99,500 for additional work required for 2022 Route 4 Water Main Replacement Project (existing contract); $117,123 for additional work for Wastewater multi-purpose facility (existing contract). Ord. 18-23 Non-Contractual Appropriations: $15,000 water valve box appropriation; $37,000 manhole castings - sewer system upgrades. 2-17/2023
