LEGAL NOTICE Notice is hereby given that on April 9, 2024, the City Commission of Springfield, Ohio, passed the following legislation: Ordinance No. 24-95, Declaring the improvement to certain parcels within the City's downtown area to be a public purpose and exempt from real property taxation; requiring the owners of those parcels to make service payments in lieu of taxes; establishing a Municipal Public Improvement Tax Increment Equivalent Fund for the deposit of those service payments; and specifying the public infrastructure improvements that directly benefit the exempt parcels. Copies of the foregoing legislation are on file in City Hall at the Office of the Clerk of the City Commission, 76 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio, and are available for public inspection.
