Legal Notice Pursuant to Ohio Environmental Protection Agency

LEGAL NOTICE Pursuant to Ohio Environmental Protection Agency requirements and NPDES Permit Number 1PL00002*OD, the Board of County Commissioners of Montgomery County, Ohio, through the Ohio EPA recognized Pretreatment Program, is giving notice that the following industry has met the definition of Significant Noncompliance (SNC) during the previous 12 months: Clean Water Environmental located at 300 Cherokee Drive, Dayton, Ohio 45427 discharged higher than allowed concentrations of the applicable Technical Review Criteria for Copper, Lead and Zinc into the sanitary sewer. Copper violations occurred in August, September, October, November and December 2019. Lead violations occurred in November and December 2019. Zinc violations occurred in November 2019. Clean Water Environmental is aware of their SNC standing and is in discussions with Montgomery County Environmental Services regarding a compliance schedule to implement improvements to eliminate metals concentration violations.
