October 5, 2020 IS THE VOTER REGISTRATION DEADLINE FOR THE November 3, 2020 GENERAL ELECTION THE MONTGOMERY COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS, 451 W. THIRD STREET, WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS FROM 8:00 A.M. UNTIL 9:00 P.M. on October 5, 2020 FOR THE PURPOSE OF REGISTERING INDIVIDUALS TO BE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE IN THE November 3, 2020 GENERAL ELECTION. Voter registration and change of address forms can be completed during normal business hours at the following locations: The Montgomery County Board of Elections All Public Libraries in Montgomery County Montgomery County Treasurer's Office The offices of the Bureau of Motor Vehicles All Public High Schools or Vocational Schools The Departments of Job & Family Services, Health, Mental Health, or Developmental Disabilities. Any state-assisted college or university that provides assistance to disabled students. Voters may register or change their registration address online by going to: www.voteohio.gov. QUALIFICATIONS FOR REGISTRATION 1.) A citizen of the United States; 2.) A resident of Ohio 30 days immediately prior to the election; 3.) 18 years of age on or before the November 3, 2020, General Election. 4.) Not incarcerated for a Felony conviction. 5.) Not declared Incompetent. 6.) Not permanently denied the right to vote for violations of election law. Individuals who are unable to travel to the Board of Elections or other designated voter registration sites can request registration forms by calling 937-225-5656, by writing to the Board of Elections at 451 W. Third St. Dayton, OH 45422, or downloading a voter registration form at www.voteohio.gov. Registration forms mailed to a county board of elections office or the Secretary of State's office must be post-marked 30 days before an election in order to be valid for that election.
