Public Notice - Variance Request Notice is hereby given that a public hearing as scheduled by the Harveysburg Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Appeals will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday February 20th, 2024, in Council Chambers at the Harveysburg Village Government Building, 79 West Main Street, Harveysburg OH 45032. An application for the construction of a Dollar General store has been received by the Harveysburg Planning Commission. Cross Development, doing business with Dollar General intends on the construction of a store along Old St. Route 73 with its entrance and building residing on the northeast corner of Parcel #1011355005, Warren County Ohio. The location of the store will be approximately 500 ft west of the intersection of Old St. Route 73 and Harveysburg Rd. No address is currently assigned and the coordinates of the proposed store are 39°30'1.93"N Latitude, 84" 0'7.08" W Longitude. The purpose of this hearing is for residents to ask questions and voice their concerns regarding the request for a variance in our zoning ordinance to reduce the required parking spaces from the code requirement of 1 per 200 SF of gross floor area, plus 2 spaces for staff equaling 56 total spaces. Cross Development is requesting the approval to install 34 parking spaces as based on the provided site plan. 2-2/2024
