Project: Valicor - Screw Press and Storage Tank Upgrades - Installation of a screw press and tank upgrades to upsize the pH adjustment chemical storage. Project Location: 300 Cherokee Drive, Jefferson Twp RR Final Findings and Orders Lytton Inc 1784 Stanley Ave, Dayton, OH 45404 ID #: 557002905004 Date of Action: 01/22/2024 The State of Ohio, represented by the Ohio Attorney General's Office, lodged a proposed Consent Decree with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio in the lawsuit entitled State of Ohio vs. Globe Motors, Inc., et al., Civil Action No. 3:18 cv 00142. The proposed decree resolves state allegations pursuant to the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act ("CERCLA"), 42 U.S.C. 9601, et seq., and Ohio's nuisance and water pollution laws found in R.C. Chapters 3767 and 6111, and the rules adopted thereunder. Defendants Globe Motors, Inc. and Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation agreed to the remediation of a facility located at 1784 Stanley Avenue, Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio (Site), requiring the implementation of the Revised Joint Remediation Proposal and reimbursement of past and future costs incurred by the State of Ohio. The Consent Decree will also resolve all claims between the Defendants and resolve claims against the Defendants by Ohio EPA.
